PURPOSE: A guide roll for adjusting path of coil type wire rod in a wire rod manufacturing line is provided to maintain appropriate path set as a moving path of the coil type wire rod and minimize deviation of longitudinal tensile strength, and a method for guiding wire rod and a method for cooling wire rod using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: In a wire rod manufacturing line in which a coil type wire rod discharged from a laying head is transferred to the side of a wire rod accumulator by rotational support rolls(3) longitudinally continuously rotated, and proceeding and completion of transformation are carried out on the wire rod by cooling air supplied from a blower so that mechanical properties such as tensile strength are given to the wire rod, the guide rolls for adjusting path of the coil type wire rod in a wire rod manufacturing line comprises a body part(110) comprising a body(112) that is formed in a roughly conical shape; and a projection part(150) comprising a screw thread which is formed on the outer surface part of the body part(110) in a spiral shape, wherein the guide rolls are integrally mounted on the end part of the support rolls(3) so that the apex part of the body(112) of the body part(110) faces the central part of the support rolls(3), a roughly disc shaped cutoff part(180) having outer diameter larger than outer diameter of the end part is integrally fixed to the end part of the large diameter side of the body part(110), and the screw thread of the projection part(150) is formed more horizontally on the surface opposite to the surface of the apex side of the body part(110) than the surface of the apex side of the body part(110).
