The injection valve for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a tube with a seating fixed to the lower end (150) defining an opening. A valve armature (500) moves axially of the tube with respect to the seating. The armature has first and second sets of passages to allow flow of liquid and vapor. Claims include a method for controlling vapor emissions using the injector.
