PURPOSE: A box type kimchi storage device is provided to obtain kimchi which is uniformly fermented regardless of the stored position in the storage chamber, by installing the installation structure of the heater so as to provide a sufficient amount of heat all over the storage chamber. CONSTITUTION: A box type kimchi storage device comprises an inner case(21) having a storage chamber(S) formed inside of the inner case; a refrigerant pipe(25) installed at the side and rear surfaces of the inner case, and where a refrigerant for lowering the temperature of the storage chamber flows; and a heater(22) for feeding a heat to the storage chamber, and which is installed at the bottom, side and rear surfaces of the inner case. The heater includes a central portion installed at the bottom surface of the inner case, and a side portion(23) extended from the central portion and installed in upward and downward directions at the rear and side surfaces of the inner case.
