<p>Apparatus for continuously aerating material to be composted, comprising a tunnel having an inlet for the material to be treated at one end, and an outlet for the treated material at its other end, a belt conveyor positioned in the transfer tunnel for conveying the material from the inlet towards the outlet, the belt conveyor comprising a belt which is composed of stainless-steel plates provided with perforations, and dividing the tunnel internally into a top chamber and a bottom chamber, and means for supplying fluid to the bottom chamber and means for discharging fluid which has passed through the through-holes and the material, from the top chamber.</p> |
