METHOD FOR IMPROVING COLLECTING EFFICIENCY OF SULFUR GENERATED FROM OXIDIZING FURNACE FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID SULFUR

PURPOSE: A method for improving collecting efficiency of sulfur generated from oxidizing furnace for manufacturing liquid sulfur is provided to control the temperature of the oxidizing furnace and maximize the efficiency of the sulfur collecting. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises (i) stage which causes the influx of cooling steam with steam controller by linking temperature sensor and the electromotion valve, (ii) stage which collects liquid sulfur which is generated in oxidizing furnace by cooling in the refrigerator, (iii) stage which makes liquid sulfur flow by intercepting gas flow route to flow the gas which contains sulfur mist from U-seal which is located at the end of the oxidizing furnace to demister, (iv) stage which collects liquid sulfur which is incompletely condensed in the demister and flows them into sulfur storage tank by gravity, (v) stage which collects sulfur efficiently by blocking gas to flow into reactor, after gas passing by demister by U-seal.
