<p>A hand-held device for the removal of litter from the ground solves the problem of simple and effective pick-up of various pieces of rubbish from the ground of any open or closed area or even of places difficult to access and at the same time enables the user, due to its simple, lightweight and compact structure, to occupy a proper body position during his work. At one end of a hollow stem (1) representing a rod-shaped body of the hand-held device or at a short distance above a section (10), there is a movable gripper (3) connected also in a movable manner via a chord (6) to an arm (2) which is carried out at the opposite end of the stem, a little below a handle (11). The gripper (3) is made in one piece preferably with an optionally shaped jaw (4) and lever (5). The gripper (3) can be opened by pulling the chord (6) with the arm (2) and closed again under the action of a spring (7) between the lever (5) and the stem (1). The handle (11) and the section (10) are shaped under the angle which enables the proper position of the hand-held device and thus of the user at his work.</p> |
