Two color filter for color display, liquid crystal display, containing color units each having primary and its complementary color

Color filter (24) is located between upper transparent substrate (12) and transparent electrode plate (18). It is made up of color units each having primary color and its complementary color. Black matrix covers outer edges of both colors to screen seams of color filter. Color display is provided by adding and altering both colors of the filter.
