The barrier has a locally fixed support part (2) and a swivel part (3) as well as locking device. The lock (11) of the locking device is housed in a bearing part (15) which is fixedly connected directly or indirectly to the support part. The lock acts on an operating member (13) which acts on the locking device (14) and is movable when the lock (11) is unlocked. A panic security device (27) acts between the swivel part and an intermediate member (15) whilst the locking device acts between the intermediate member and support part. |
