SELECTIVE HYDROISOMERIZING CATALYST, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THEREOF, AND PROCESS FOR SELECTIVE HYDROISOMERIZIING OF HYDROCARBONES

Normal paraffin series hydrocarbons with more than 20 carbon atoms are selectively transformed using a catalyst. The catalyst is based on crystallization from an aqueous suspension of silica gel, phosphorous acid and aluminum, in the presence of di-n-propyl-amine. This is followed by forming and the introduction of a hydrogenating metal, such that crystallisation occurs in a buffered state. Independent claims are included for the preparation of the catalyst and its use.
