A device used for cutting and/or mixing comprises a rotatable shaft with a means for connecting it to a rotary drive mechanism. Arms extending away from the shaft are distributed over the length of the shaft and have coupling pieces extending between them. Independent claims are also included for; (1) A mixing method using this device; and (2) A method for mixing soil using this device.
