Lighting circuit comprises a light (12) connected to a negative and a positive terminal of a main circuit. An additional electrical source (25) is placed in parallel to the main source. Switches (22,24) responding to a fault signal (CHOC) can be switched on (24) or off (22) so that the additional source and the light are forming a close circuit independent from the main circuit. The light may be a roof-mounted lamp, a safety lamp, an incandescent light or a fluorescent light. The additional electricity source may be an accumulator, a battery or a capacitor.
