A hygiene product for the hands which is usable without rinsing, rapid drying, effective in application below 1g, contains less than 2% of an essential oil and contains as a flow agent a natural or synthetic silicate. The product is in the form of a fluid or semi-fluid emulsion to aid application and is presented in a container preferably made from recycled, recyclable, biodegradable or biocompostable components permitting the application of precise quantities by means of a pump. The composition may also contain perfume, astringents, anti- perspirants, emollients, hydrating agents, nutritional factors such as vitamins and minerals, alpha-hydroxy acids, proteins, aminated acids and anti-microbial agents.
