oil and gas industry; removal of water-wax precipitants from pump-and-compressor pipes of oil wells. SUBSTANCE: electric heater unit has thermoelectric heater. Housing is filled with high-heat conducting metal. Front part of heater is made in the form of off-centered cone with threaded external surface and slits on flange side opposing off-centered end of front part, with flange part protruding on off-centered end and with longitudinal and/or shaped grooves provided on inner surface. Helical grooves are tapped on outer and inner surfaces of tubular housing. Focus of outer groove contour is spaced from outer surface of housing through distance equal to difference between radii of pump-and-compressor pipes wherefrom water-wax precipitants are removed and radius of housing. Cone angle on front part is chosen depending on location of perpendicular to center of outer generatrix of off-centered front part. EFFECT: reduced heat-transfer loss in housing walls and front part of heater; enhanced specific heat transfer. 3 dwg
