The invention relates to a white, sealable, biaxially-oriented, co-extruded polyester film with cycloolefinic copolymer (COC), comprising at least one base layer (B) and at least one sealable cover layer (A), whereby at least the base layer (B) or one of the cover layers contains a polyester starting material and cycloolefin copolymer (COC). The invention further relates to a method for the production of the polyester film and the use thereof on quickly-running machines.
