<p>When more than one IEEE1394 apparatuses performing each processing independently is present in one product, it is very difficult in prior art to keep compatibility of EUI-64 as a product when a common identification number is set. In a plurality of IEEE1394 apparatuses A101-C103 operable independent from each other, an EUI-64 storing means (100) for storing an identification number processed as a common identifier and communication means (201-203) for transferring the identification number to the plurality of IEEE1394 apparatuses are provided. Upon acquisition of the identification number transferred from the communication means, the IEEE1394 apparatuses A101-C103 generate identifiers from the identification number and establish configuration ROMs containing identifiers.</p> |
