<p>A cigarette with filter (1) which comprises a tobacco part (2) being composed of tobacco leaves wounded with tobacco paper and, continuously connected therewith, a filter (3), wherein the filter (3) has a first filter part (4) arranged on the side of a smoker's mouth and a second filter part (5) arranged between the first filter part (4) and the tobacco part (2), characterized in that the second filter part (5) contains a powder produced by a method comprising compounding fly ash and clay as primary components and titanium dioxide, iron oxide and a phenol resin as secondary components, to thereby produce a porous ceramic, and then pulverizing the ceramic. The cigarette with filter (1) can be used for selectively adsorbing the tar contained in the smoke of tobacco, and thus for improving the capability of removing tars.</p> |
