A turbo compressor capable of increasing an efficiency without increasing a size and a cost and a refrigerator with the turbo compressor capable of increasing an efficiency; the turbo compressor, comprising a casing (55) having a suction port and a delivery port provided therein, a rotating shaft (41) drivingly rotated by a motor, an impeller (19) formed integrally with the rotating shaft (41), and a diffuser part (46) formed of a pair of first wall part (56) and a second wall part (58) on the outer peripheral side of the impeller (19) and forming a flow path for a refrigerant fed to the outer peripheral side by the rotation of the impeller (19), wherein the refrigerant is sucked through the suction port by the impeller (19) rotated together with the rotating shaft (41) by the motor, compressed, and delivered from the delivery port through the diffuser part (46), and the width dimension of the diffuser part (46) along the axial direction thereof is made so that an outer peripheral side outlet (46b) is larger than an inlet (46a) for the refrigerator fed from the impeller (19).
