<p>The invention concerns a protective barrier exhibiting thermal and acoustic barrier characteristics designed to be applied to metallic and composite structures such as aircraft cockpits, boat hulls, outside structures of trains and of other means of transport, essentially in the form of a mat consisting of several fibre layers, preferably glass fibres, enclosed in a sheath. The invention is characterised in that the case comprises at least a first support, preferably made of an organic material having sealing and anticondensation properties, and an impregnated mica paper.</p> |
