The present invention relates to the use of an angiotensin II type 1 recepto r antagonist of the general formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of a vascular headache conditi on such as migraine, in a subject suffering from, or susceptible to, such a vascular headache condition. A further aspect of the invention is a pharmaceutical formulation useful in any one of said vascular headache conditions, as well as a method of treatment thereof. |
