PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile machine, capable of acquiring IP address based on different name information inputted by a user and performing real-time network facsimile communication, even if the IP address of a reception side machine is not inputted directly in a transmission side machine. SOLUTION: The reception side machine registers the IP address, acquired dynamically from a DHCP server device on a network at the time of starting an operation to a gate keeper device over the network together with prescribed different name information. When different name information is inputted, the transmission side equipment refers to the gate deeper device for the inputted different name information, acquires the IP address of the corresponding reception side machine and performs the real-time facsimile communication with the reception side machine, based on the acquired IP address.
