PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an exhaust gas muffler so as to improve the working time of a disposed spark protective screen. SOLUTION: A muffling chamber 1 is divided in a first part chamber 9 and a second part chamber 10 by a partition wall 8. The second part chamber 10 is almost equivalent to at least the volume of the first part chamber 9, and the spark protective screen 6 is disposed at the partition wall 8 between both part chambers 9, 10.
