PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound image localizing signal generator for headphone listening improved in localization accuracy by supplying an accurate time difference between both ears in the hardware configuration of a small memory capacity. SOLUTION: This device has two delayers (2 and 3) constituted by cascade connecting plural all pass filters having a great phase delay quantity in the center and lower frequencies comparing to a high frequency, signals supplied from these delayers are supplied to two localizing filter means (4 and 5) for performing sound image localizing for localizing imaginary sound images at the position of a target sound source and the signals, to which localizing is applied, are supplied to left and right headphones as a signal, which can be listened to by localizing the imaginary sound images at the position of the target sound source. |
