PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery with enhanced safety and reliability by using a gel-like electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: This lithium battery is equipped with; an electrode assembly including a cathode, an anode, and a separator interposed between the cathode and the anode; the gel-like electrolytic solution comprising a cross-linked product of a pre-polymer for epoxy resin formation with amine, a lithium salt, and an organic solvent; and a case containing the electrode assembly and the electrolytic solution, This efficiently suppresses a swelling phenomenon caused by the electrolytic solution to eliminate the fear of the electrolytic solution leaking to the exterior, and enables the reliability and safety of the battery to be prevented from being lowered by such a leakage. |
