METHOD FOR CORRECTING DEFECT OF LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting liquid crystal panel by which defective pixels are made inconspicuous under a normal usage even if any defective pixel is generated. SOLUTION: When plural pixels are connected together, the connections between pixel electrodes 17 of other pixels and signal supply lines 12a and 14a are disconnected so that a TFT 15 of the pixel, on which a color filter having highest transmissivity among these pixels, drives other pixels. Moreover, correcting wiring is beforehand formed to connect adjacent pixels and when a defective pixel is generated, the pixel electrode of the defective pixel and the pixel electrode of the pixel adjacent to the defective pixel is electrically connected by the correction wiring.
