INSTALL DEVICE AND RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an install device and a recording medium to absorb difference in performance due to difference in operating environment in the case of installation and capable of fully making use of the performance of a hardware device in individual environment. SOLUTION: Three dimensional computer graphic application (3DCG) 3, texture data 5 and polygon data 7 which are most suitable for the operating environment are selected based on information obtained by investigating hardware environment and software environment of a computer 15 at install destination, a missing component 33 is determined and installed. In addition, a default file of the 3DCG application 3 to indicate functions which can be executed by the computer 15 at the install destination is created based on information about an acceleration device (video card).
