PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device, capable of transmitting the information of a caller to a call termination side, even at the time of using the communication channel of a different signal form such as the Internet as a relay channel. SOLUTION: This gateway device is provided with a caller information reception means for receiving caller information from the other gateway device via a first communication channel, a caller information transmission means for transmitting the caller information received by the caller information reception means to a second communication channel, an information detection means for detecting the information about that transmission cannot be performed from the second communication channel to the call terminal side and a reporting means for reporting the caller information during communication, when the information detection means detects that the caller information can not be transmitted to the call termination side.
