PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communications equipment and a method for radio communicating, capable of being reduced in size by sharing a transmission mixer and a reception mixer. SOLUTION: Transmission and reception are alternatively communicated by a mixer 5 or balance mixers 50 and 51, and a frequency converter for an intermediate frequency and a radio frequency is shared on the transmission side and the reception side. The transmission side or the reception side is selected by switches 31 and 32, and circulators 41 and 42 or the like, and the transmission rot the reception in the radio frequency is selected. Thus, the transmission mixer and the reception mixer are shared so as to enable reduction in size.
