PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacked type heat exchanger enabling smooth discharge of the drain of gas to be cooled, in regard to the stacked type heat exchanger wherein the gas flows through a return path. SOLUTION: A drain hole 9 is provided in one end part of a reversing plate 10 constituting a partition plate, while a gas inlet-outlet 8 is opened in the other end part thereof. The area of the opening of the drain hole 9 is made smaller considerably than that of the gas inlet-outlet 8. Moreover, the whole stacked type heat exchanger is inclined so that the gas inlet-outlet 8 of the reversing plate 10 is positioned above the horizontal plane.
