PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the temperature of the fluidized bed of a fluidized bed incinerator by which the temperature of the fluidized bed can be controlled within an appropriate range without using any external energy, such as the petroleum, coal, etc., for raising the temperature of the fluidized bed nor providing any auxiliary facility, such as a heat transfer tube, etc., for lowering the temperature. SOLUTION: Since the temperature of the fluidized bed drops when large quantities of sands and incombustibles are discharged from the fluidized bed by means of a screw feeder and rises when the discharged quantities of the sands and incombustibles are reduced within the range meeting the relation of Fi/(Fi+Fs)<0.15 (wherein, Fs and Fi respectively denote the discharged quantities of the sands and incombustibles), the temperature of the fluidized bed can be controlled within the appropriate range by discharging appropriate quantities of sands and incombustibles by appropriately controlling the number of revolutions of the screw feeder.
