PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple coolie hat formed by welding the peripheral rim of a cut synthetic resin sheet, suppressed in local swelling caused by air injection and prevented from air leak and bending. SOLUTION: This coolie hat has a cyclic skeleton 1 toroidally formed to be able to insert the head into a central space 8, limbs 2 formed so as to radially and nearly horizontally project from the cyclic skeleton 1, the central space 8, a hat cover 3 covering the cyclic skeleton 1 and all of the limbs 2. And, the peripheral rim of the hat cover 3 is detachably stuck to the ends of the limbs 2 so as to be able to form a chevron shape when the head is projected from the central space and to form a space for an air passage.
