PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the life and sealing efficiency of a brush seal by reducing too early and too much wearing of bristles caused by substantial drift in engine aligning. SOLUTION: The life and sealing efficiency of a brush seal are improved by providing a holding body 42 and a support body 56 hung movably from the holding body 42 by a plurality of support wires 58 in the brush seal 34. A plurality of the bristles 59 are fixed to the support body 56. The holding body 42 is preferably mounted on a stationary member 36, and the bristles 59 are hermetically engaged with a rotary member 38.
