PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen sensor excellent in impact resistance and, particularly, capable of damping the initial impact applied to the sensor inner part. SOLUTION: This oxygen sensor 1 comprises a rectangular sectional sensor board (sensor element) 3 inserted into a metallic fitting 7a through a ceramic holder 5. In this oxygen sensor 1, the outer diameter of a gasket 2 is formed larger than the length of the hexagonal opposite side distance of the metallic fitting 7a. |
