<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint member for a handrail, which can positively form a desirable connecting angle, achieves fine adjustment of the connecting angle, and absorbs a load even if the load is applied thereto. SOLUTION: The joint member for the handrail can set handrail members (80 and 81) to a combination body (30) at an arbitrary angle. The combined body (30) is formed by combining a first connecting portion (15) of a first joint member (10) with a second connecting member (25) of a second joint member (20), and clamping the connecting portions together in a relatively rotatable manner by means of a clamping member (40) such as a bolt. According to the joint member for the handrail, a pressing plate (60) which is screwed onto the clamping member (40) in a state in which rotation thereof is blocked, is arranged in the combination body (30), and by clamping the clamping member (40), the pressing plate (60) is moved so as to make close contact with an internal surface of the combination body (30), whereby the first connecting portion (15) and the second connecting portion (25) are fixed to each other.</p> |
