PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting the inversion of a wobble signal in an optical disk. SOLUTION: A turning circuit is used for detecting a wobble clock inversion. The tuning circuit responds to wobble inversion by the change of amplitude which can be detected by a threshold detector. A band pass tuning circuit is used for detecting wobble clock inversion. The output of the band pass tuning circuit is inputted to a saturation high gain amplifier such as a comparator, for example. The saturation high gain amplifier responds to wobble inversion in half a period having an increased time compared to half a period without wobble inversion.
