PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a magnetic disk device that temperature rise is suppressed in the IC chip for the magnetic head, with respect to the magnetic disk device where the distance between the IC chip and the head is reduced. SOLUTION: With an eddy generator attached to the upper stream side of the IC chip for the head, in the air flow generating for the IC chip by the revolution of a magnetic disk, disturbance is imparted to the air flow that hits the IC chip, improving heat conduction from the IC chip. In addition, the IC chip for the head is attached to a binding plate that fixes a suspension and a movable arm, so that heat radiation of the IC chip is improved.
