PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem on the occurrences of the temperature rising of a paper non-passing part at the outside of an are through which the recording material of a minimum width passes and the deterioration and damage of a heating body and a heating member or the like due to it. SOLUTION: Since a second temperature detecting element for the detection of the temperature rising of the paper non-passing part is housed in a housing and is provided at the paper non-passing part, and it is brought into contact with the heating body through the housing, a constitution is made inexpensive and simple, so that an electric safety specification is satisfied and also the reduction of a cost is attained.
