PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with an operation part which is easily operated and by which the handling of an original is facilitated. SOLUTION: An image reading part 1 is placed on an image reading part placing table 4 provided in a housing frame body 3, and the placing table 4 and an image forming part 2 housed below the placing table 4 are coupled and fixed by a fixing member 27, while the operation part 8 operating the image reading part 1 and the image forming part 2 is attached to the fixing member 27, whereby the rock of the operation part 8 is prevented. Furthermore, the fixing member 27 is provided ahead of a feeding means 1a feeding the original to the image reading part 1 and ejecting the original which has been already read on an opposite side to the original ejecting side of the feeding means 1a, whereby the operation part 8 is prevented from hindering the handling of the original.
