PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a plasma display panel, wherein there is no such problem that an air bubble or the like is generated when a dielectric layer is formed, and wherein the dielectric layer which is superior in a breakdown voltage can be formed. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a plasma display panel is provided, which is characterized in that on a substrate, patterns having a tapered form of regular order are formed for use.
