PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melt blown nonwoven fabric excellent in thermal dimensional stability. SOLUTION: This melt blown nonwoven fabric comprises a polyester fiber compounded with 0.01-15 wt.% per fiber of a polymer having a higher temperature dependency of an intrinsic viscosity than the polyester and the melt blown nonwoven fabric has less than 30% of a degree of surface dry thermal shrinkage.
