PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily analyze the whole of a circuit when one part of the circuit has been changed. SOLUTION: A dividing means 1a divides the circuit to be a design target into at least two partial circuits called a block. A simulation means 1b executes a simulation for every unit of block. A simulation result storage means 1c stores the simulation result for the unit of block. An input waveform storage means 1d stores the input waveform of each of blocks. When the circuit is changed, an affected block specifying means 1e specifies the block to be affected. A re-simulation means 1f executes again the simulation to only the block specified by the affected block specifying means 1e while using the waveform stored in the input waveform storage means 1d. A calculating means 1g calculates the characteristics of the circuit after the change by totaling the simulation result of the re-simulation means 1f and the simulation result, which is stored in the simulation result storage means 1c, related to the other block.
|
