PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment of a mobile communication terminal equipped with a frequency setting device capable of switching the frequencies of a slot just after a guard bit and a mobile communication method. SOLUTION: An ultra-high speed synthesizer is divided into a 1st-synthesizer 30 and a 2nd-synthesizer 40, and the 1st-synthesizer 30 is constituted of a 1st-R counter 1, 1st-phase comparator 2, 1st-charge pump 3, a 1st-AN counter 4, 1st- prescaler 5, an accumulator 6 capable of realizing fractional frequency division system frequency setting, a 1st-LPF 7, and a 1st-VCO 8, and the 2nd-synthesize 40 is constituted of a 2nd-R counter 9, a first 2nd-phase comparator 10, a 2nd- charge pump 11, a second 2nd-phase comparator 12, a 2nd-AN counter 13, a 2nd-prescaler 14, a 2nd-LPF 15, and a 2nd-VCO 16. The accumulator 6 realizes the frequency division system frequency setting so that comparator frequencies can be set to 19.2 MHz in order to perform setting to a channel to be used by a PHS.
