PURPOSE: To prevent sliding contact between a lid and a disk cartridge by opening the lid in synchronization with timing of loading the cartridge. CONSTITUTION: The lid 4 for opening and closing a slit 3 into which the disk cartridge 201 is inserted is opened via an interlocking levers 104 and 162 by interlocking with the rotation of a cam gear 97 constituting a disk loading mechanism. Then, after completing the loading, the lid is closed, so that dust is prevented from intruding.
