PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device allowing a margin of the operating speed of a redundant memory cell, while ensuring miniaturization of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device comprises redundant memory cells completing memory cells arranged in row and column directions like a matrix, the redundant memory cells are arranged at least in either row or column direction and have the same size in the arranging direction as that of the memory cells but a larger size in a direction perpendicular to the arranging direction than that of the memory cells. |
