PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a linking element which can be made strong and simple to operate this linking element, and especially made available even under an extremely bad condition for connecting electrical equipment to an optical data bus having uni-directional transmission. SOLUTION: A casing (6) of a linking element (1) is provided with an optic/ electronic converting part (7) to which an input data bus line (4) is optically connected, an electronic/optic converting part (8) to which an output data bus line (5) is optically connected, two electric contacts (9, 10) arranged outside the casing capable of electrically connecting the both converting parts to electrical equipment (2), and a switchable electric connecting part (11) arranged between the both converting parts to be opened when the electrical equipment (2) is connected, and to be closed when the electrical equipment (2) is not connected. |
