PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities and a method for computer-based ordering and order reception of an article for damage insurance which can easily and speedily perform automobile damage insurance processing. SOLUTION: The article ordering and order receiving facilities for damage insurance using a computer comprise a computer 16 for insurance processing installed in a damage insurance company 14, a computer 20 for central processing installed in a center processing company 18, computers 24 for retrieval which are installed in retrieval companies 22 which are decentralized and arranged, and computers 28 which are decentralized, arranged, and installed in stock companies 26.
