PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder that is multiply accessed and attains start of recording again from a stop state of the recording at a high-speed. SOLUTION: An input processing means of each channel receives a recording instruction during the stop operation and when a memory bank with final data written therein among banks of an in-channel buffer memory is not incorporated in the write processing to a recording medium, the data are appended to the memory bank, and when the memory bank is incorporated in the write processing, other memory bank is selected and the recording is restarted.
