PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a double floor module which is light in weight, convenient to store, transport, and handle, excellent in load carrying capacity, durability, insulating properties, and noncombustibility, does not damage a cable present on a lower side thereof even if it is dropped, and is prevented from electrification thereof. SOLUTION: The double floor module 1 is comprised of a housing shell 2, honeycomb panels 3 housed in the housing shell 2, and an upper cover shell 4 for covering a top face of the housing shell 2. According to the double floor module 1, the height of four side walls of the upper cover shell 4 is made shorter than the height of four side walls of the housing shell 2, and putty 5 is filled in a gap between the side walls of the respective shells to combine the shells together. Then, a round corner at the bottom of the housing shell 2 which is exposed out of an opening edge of the upper cover shell 4 is covered with a rubber seal 6 over its entire perimeter. Further, a carbon-contained gel coat layer is formed on an external surface layer of each shell, and then an aluminum-contained gel coat layer is formed as an outermost layer.
