PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a printing system equipped with at least one printer PR and at least two user terminals WS connected through a network N to at least one printer. SOLUTION: Each printer is provided with a control unit 14 which controls the processing of a print job after receiving a print job from a user terminal, and when any disturbance is generated in the processing of the print job, a warning message related with the disturbance is transmitted to at least one user terminal, and when any preliminarily decided kind of disturbance is generated, a warning signal related with the disturbance is generated by the preliminarily decided first terminal of a user terminal WS, and when any response is not detected within a preliminarily decided delay time, a warming signal related with the same disturbance is generated by the preliminarily decided other terminal of the user terminal WS. |
