PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remotely controllable information processing technology having merit in convenience, safety or economicity. SOLUTION: A user terminal 40 calls a home server 20 (S10) and the home server 20 issues a connection request to a provider (S12). The provider connects the home server 20 to the Internet 36 and reports an IP address (S14). The home server 20 reports that IP address to the user terminal 40 (S16). While using the IP address, the user terminal 40 issues the control request of home network equipment 14 to the home server 20 (S18). The home server 20 sends an instruction to the home network equipment 14 (S20) and receives a status (S22).
