<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a cable, with a good workability, which can be prevented from coming off despite a changing attitude of an actuator. SOLUTION: An actuator 21 is provided with a through hole 12 into which is put a pivoting part 13 of a contact 15, and a cam part 25. The actuator is rotated, held and engaged by the pivoting part of the contact, and, is either in the state of being opened or closed. In case the actuator rotates from an opened state to a closed state, the cam part of the actuator is opposite to, and apart from, a cam supporting surface of the housing 19. Thereby, the pivoting part of the contact is connected and pressed to a cam side surface of the actuator cam part. Therefore, the pivoting part of the contact is deformed elastically and biased. As a result, the actuator is put back to the opened state.</p> |
